Republicans and democrats can work together to decrease the number of crisis pregnacies and abortions in our state.

Unfortunately this debate is dominated by extreme voices on both sides. The main Democrate agency, NARAL (National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws) seems to measure success by increases in abortion rates.

Some conservative groups lose track of the problem when they refuse to accept contraception that will decrease abortions. Other pro-life groups get so focused on defining the moment that life begins that they lose site of the mother who is alive and has a life in front of her.
